Welcome to The Dark Slide.
Are you looking for high quality fine art printing, art reproduction or photographic services at a reasonable price?
Unlike online places where human connection is impossible, or printing houses with no understanding of a fine photographic print or art reproduction, I've been doing it for myself and many other talented artist and photogs for 2 decades.
BIO
My name is Min Enghauser and I've been a fine art photographer most my life. My training was in all things traditional – film, darkroom, alternative processes. Today its a blend of analog and digital. I love to print big and show my work. I like to experiment with presentation, often foregoing traditional gallery framing for hand-made frames, mounting to wood, varnishes and resins.

As a long time resident artist at the once renowned Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Virginia, I had the immense fortune and pleasure of working with some of the DC Metro areas best artists and photographers.
Today I am located in Richmond's Southside, enjoying all the diversity of life and culture this great capital city has to offer.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I make photographs of ordinary things at extraordinary moments.
In constructing a photograph I define and tether unassuming evanescent realities that hide in plain sight. The casual glance becomes an ethereal stopping point where the weights of scale and context elevate the ordinary and eternalize the extraordinary.

“Spirit stands still long enough for the photographer it has chosen.''
